Even though he was prepared with an umbrella, Austin and his friend were soaking wet when they got home from the school today. He said, “I’ve never felt more like Jesus before! We were walking on water out there!”

So he told us he was going to enjoy playing in the water while he still could. About 30 minutes later, he came back in with his clothes totally drenched. Apparently they went to see if the pool was flooded like the rest of the complex. And they ended up jumping into the pool fully clothed. It made a big impression on him. He said it was quite exhilarating!

It reminds me that one can always find the magic in a moment. I was so proud that he chose to see the potential of the situation rather than being mad about the rain.
